FLaReNet Launching Event

Vienna, Austria, 12-13 February 2009

FLaReNet (Fostering Language Resources Network, web site at http://www.flarenet.eu/) is an eContentPlus project funded by the European Commission and intended to promote the consolidation of a European strategy in the field of Language Resources and Language Technologies and to be an international forum to facilitate interaction among LR stakeholders.

Important - Deadline is Approaching

FLaReNet Launching Event: "The European Language Resources and Technologies Forum: Shaping the Future of the Multilingual Digital Europe" - Vienna, 12-13 February 2009.

This collaborative workshop will be composed of a series of working sessions where leading experts will present their vision on hot topics in the field of Language Resources and Technologies. Participants will contribute to the discussion and play a role in the definition of priorities and recommendations for future actions in this area.

**For attending this open Forum no registration fees are required but you have to fill in a Registration Form which can be accessed only after you have requested an account for navigating the web site.
Prior to requesting an account, you have to join the Network (see above).

**Please remember that registration to the Vienna Forum will close on February, 1.

**A contest for best contributions to the themes dealt with in the various sessions has been set. Authors of best contributions will be awarded with reimbursement of their travel expenses and invited to give a short presentation (please visit the web site at: http://www.flarenet.eu/?q=Vienna09_Contest for more detailed information). The contest will close on February, 1.
